Mạc and the Odd Stones – First & Last Miniconcert

The fate that brought Mac and the Odd Stones to Polygon Musik was on June 1, when MATOS was a guest at the concert of the French group the Rodeo. And right after that, the decision to create a miniconcert came as quickly as an electric shock.

Mac Mai Suong is the initiator of the MATOS project – each member has been a factor in other young bands in Hanoi and was “pulled to perform musical acts” by Suong after nearly 10 years, writing and singing. More than just a name, “Odd Stones” also showcases the “weird” personality of each piece at MATOS – and many of those personalities have created a variety of music products from ballads, soul, funk to alternative. MATOS’s music is really good, interesting and very different.

However, the handshake between Polygon and MATOS is the first and last handshake, this concert is also the first and last mini concert of MATOS under this name, by Mac Mai Suong herself and the members. Others are cherishing their breakthrough musical plans in the near future. However, MATOS fans don’t be sad, because each member developing in their own direction is a good thing and maybe after they’ve been bored, they’ll find each other again… That’s fate.

Instead of thanking each other for the journey they have traveled together, as well as the audience’s support for the past 4 years, more than 2 hours on the Polygon stage on August 19 – MATOS will burn to its fullest.
