HANOI SWING OUT is a social dancing series at COMPLEX Rooftop, promises to bring an exciting playground for anyone – who has & has never danced Swing.
Developed in the 1920s – 1940s, Swing Dance is a group of dances created by the African American community based on Swing Jazz music. Today, the best-known of these dances is Lindy Hop, which originated in Harlem in the early 1930s. For its inspirational and joyful rhythm that anyone can sway with, Swing Dance has become more popular throughout the years and all over the world.
If you are still hesitant about not knowing how to dance, 30 minutes of basic steps for newbies (taster class) at the beginning is enough for 1 hour, and 30 minutes after that you can swing with great joy at the COMPLEX 01 rooftop. All you need is comfortable shoes, a colorful dress code, and a music lover soul.
Dancing at the closest place to the sky at COMPLEX 01, under the twinkling lights, and feeling alive in every breath!
