A Conversation with Young Filmmakers: Telling Love Stories Through Short Films
On March 8, White Light Cinéhub hosted “A Conversation with Young Filmmakers: Telling Love Stories Through Short Films,” offering audiences an opportunity to meet filmmakers and discover different approaches to portraying love on screen.

As part of the program, audiences enjoyed five short films presenting five distinct perspectives, while also hearing from directors Nguyễn Lê Hoàng Việt, Trần Hữu Thành, and Chu Diệu Linh about their creative journeys, artistic inspirations, and the ways they translate personal emotions into cinematic language.
Each film carried its own tone and sensibility, showing that affection, intimacy, and emotional growth can be expressed in many different ways. More than a discussion about short filmmaking, the event also invited reflection on emotion, connection, and deeply human experience.

Ultimately, the event fostered an intimate space for exchange between filmmakers and audiences, where diverse perspectives could be shared and where short films became a bridge for empathy and reflection.
