On July 28, White Light Cinéhub welcomed the crew of ‘Hạ Hồi’ documentary for an initimate screening and meet-up.

Through ‘Hạ Hồi’, the audience got the chance to experience an original perspective on Tuồng (a traditional Vietnamese performing art), specifically on the Tuồng Phú Mẫn Club (Bắc Ninh), on their laughter and improvisations backstage, and the simple pleasure of performing on stage of ordinary yet passionate artists.

‘Tradition can be preserved not only through sacrifice, but also through joy, innocence, and enduring love over the years.’ – This spirit was also well shared through the cozy discussion with the film crew.
